Connecting families to their community.‍

Camp Season is Coming!

There’s nothing better than a summer camp experience to give at-risk children a chance to really enjoy time outdoors. This summer, foster kids will be given the chance to explore the great outdoors at a discounted rate. Camp Julian Oaks is offering camps for kids who are in foster care, group homes, adopted from the system or kinship families (between 4th and 12th grade). Because of generous donors, camps are only $30 a week. For more information, email office@julianoaks.org or call 760- 765-1738. Camp Julian Oaks offers a variety of activities including hiking, music and drama, crafts, swimming, games, worship, Bible studies and most importantly, an opportunity for the healing of deep emotional wounds. Highly trained counselors develop relationships with campers that last a lifetime. Kids return again and again because of the intentional and genuine bonds made. High School camp is June 21-25, Elementary camp is July 6-9, Jr. High is July 19-23 and another session of High School camp is August 2-6.

Park Hill Church is hosting Royal Family Kids Camp from July 5-9. They are inviting foster, adopted and kinship children ages 7-11 to come for free to Pine Valley. Spaces are limited. Please contact Arielle Dortch for more information: arielledortch@parkhillsd.church‍

May is National Foster Care Month! Thank you to all who serve these  families and love them well!
