On December 17, San Diego Community Assist (SDCA) will be hosting a Christmas Store Takeover! At an undisclosed location and time, the SDCA will cover the cost of groceries for people inside. With a great understanding of how challenging the holiday season can be, they wanted to provide a sense of relief to the people of the community.
If you are interested in being involved in this surprise event on Friday, go to mysdca.org and watch for the location to be published. On Saturday, December 18, they will provide 500 turkeys and 500 toys to families in need at the Jacobs Center in San Diego from 1-6pm. You can get your tickets for the Turkey and Toy Giveaway here.
